Why does a website, dedicated to helping marriages grow and thrive, heavily focus on spiritual growth?
Simple. A Christian marriage can not – CAN NOT – thrive, be restored, or flourish in hope and joy without a firm Biblical foundation. So, at Hope Joy In Christ, we give practical marriage advice but we also offer sound Biblical teaching to help you grow in faith.
A Firm Foundation For Spiritual Growth
In fact, I would go a step further in asserting that you can not have a healthy Christian marriage without growing in faith. Nope. You need to mature in faith.
We as Disciples of Christ desperately need to wake up, grow beyond the need for Spiritual milk, and begin to mature in our faith walk!
But before you can mature in your faith you need a firm foundation. Spiritual growth requires… growth… progress!

Spiritual Growth Through Prayer
It goes without saying that to grow in faith, and to mature in faith, you must cultivate a healthy prayer life. In fact, as I began to pull together this list to get you started I realized I talk about prayer more than almost any other topic!
So I am making it a separate page so the resources have enough space.
