Anxious. Worried. Afraid. I don’t mean to feel Anxiety. Can you relate? Honestly there are days I want to scream because inside there is Joy. There really is joy in my life and in my Marriage today. A decade ago we were on the road to divorce. Nothing was going right and I was sure it never would again. Why didn’t the anxiety strike then?
Hi, I’m Tiffany and I battle anxiety. There are days it feels like my anxiety defines me. The real me takes a back seat and I struggle to breath – let alone get off the couch. ‘Where did I go’ I wonder. “Where did my wife go” my husband asks.
There is a constant war to assure him I am fine, he is fine, we are fine. None of this anxiety is related to our relationship. Our marriage is stronger than it has ever been and we have really fought some war’s together.
We have battle Alcoholism, Pornography, loss of jobs, miscarriages, a full year of colic…
Do you need some encouragement to keep pressing into that Daily Commitment?
We could all use a community to help us in Reclaiming Hope & Joy in our marriages!

Now we war against Anxiety
It is a war I never saw coming and I have no control over. I’ve found 3 things that give me Hope we will survive this war between Anxiety and Joy in our Marriage.
How can I keep a firm hold of Joy through Anxiety?
1. I have to remember what Joy is and where it comes from.
The thing I love about Joy is that we can have it regardless of our situation. It is not about happiness or smiling… though it often brings a smile.
Joy comes from Hope -even while we are patient in tribulations (Romans 12:12)
Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit who lives inside of me (Galatians 5:22)
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit
